🧳 TripSplit

1. Data we collect

None. TripSplit does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data or usage data. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs and no tracking of any kind in the app.

2. Where your data lives

Trips, members, expenses, kitty contributions and settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. This data is never uploaded anywhere, because the app does not even request the internet permission.

3. Permissions

TripSplit requests zero Android permissions. It cannot access your contacts, location, camera, files, microphone or network.

4. Accounts and sign-in

There is no sign-up or sign-in. We never ask for your email address, phone number or any identity.

5. Backups

If you have Android's system backup enabled, Android may include the app's data in your own Google backup. That backup belongs to you and is governed by Google's backup policies; TripSplit itself never sees it.

6. Deleting your data

Delete a trip inside the app, clear the app's storage from Android settings, or simply uninstall the app. All data is removed instantly and permanently — there is no server copy.

7. Children's privacy

Because no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children either.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address, and the app will remain a zero-data-collection app.
